Urgent Request to Sign a Petition

I was really excited and nervous at the beginning of this year.

Excited because Robert F Kennedy was talking about completely reforming how we do health in this country. Nervous because I knew ‘the blob’ would not be happy with change.

There are lots of interests in this country that are making big profits by keeping people sick. A patient cured is a customer lost. If everyone suddenly decided to eat well, exercise, stop drinking alchohol etc., there would be a huge drop in corporate profits.

Those corporate interests have a lot of friends in government regulatory agencies. So those agencies are going to be resistant to change.

My nervousness is coming to fruition.

A few days ago, there was a leaked MAHA report… and it mentioned NOTHING about low-carb. Not a word.

I am a big believer that this is the most powerful diet we have to actually reverse obesity, diabetes, and fatty liver — and the Commission’s own earlier findings even said so. But now… it’s gone.

Instead they put in some gobbledeegook about how they will work with other government agencies to come up with better dietary recommendations. The same government agencies that have a revolving door between positions as regulators and positions as processed food and pharmaceutical executives.

To quote from the leaked report:

Nutrition: NIH will partner with FDA, USDA, and AHA to

conduct high-quality nutrition research and ingredient assessments. NIH and HHS

will take steps to fully utilize the newly created FDA and NIH Joint Nutrition

Regulatory Science Program. USDA will prioritize precision nutrition research,

which identifies how dietary exposures impact individuals, leading to more

targeted nutritional recommendations. HHS will add questions to the National

Survey of Children's Health that focus on nutrition.

If this stands, the same failed nutrition advice will continue to destroy lives for years.

We need your voice. Would you please sign this petition to demand that low-carb be put back into the MAHA Report.

The Nutrition Coalition is leading this effort — and together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for your help with this.

For US residents only.
