Some Expert Help to Resolve Your Sugar Addiction
An entrepreneur once told me:
“The three most addictive substances on this planet are cocaine, sugar and a regular monthly paycheck.”
This was before Meth became such a big street drug. And I’m not sure a regular monthly paycheck is all that bad an addiction.
So let’s concentrate on sugar. Nearly all the people who move into our assisted living home with dementia are sugar addicts. Sugar is everywhere. Even ‘sugar-free’ products often have a substance that has the same properties of sugar.
Did you know there are at least 56 alternate names for sugar?
Many of us become addicted to sugar as kids. Then it stays with us our whole lives. The unlucky ones receive a diabetes diagnosis. Even if many of us don’t officially have diabetes, we may have insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. Poor metabolic health leads to a lot of other chronic diseases:
Alzheimer’s
Heart disease
Cancer
Kidney disease
Blindness
Just some of the biggest killers of humans throughout the world.
There is hope.
Lots of people have kicked their sugar habit. But like any other addiction, you might need some help to put an end to it.
Recently some friends alerted me to a totally-free, 10-day virtual summit of experts that will help you kick your sugar habit.
It starts tomorrow. My apologies for not giving you more notice. It’s called, appropriately, The ‘Kick Sugar Summit’

It’s 10 days long but you can attend the sessions you want. You can learn more by going to their website or Facebook group.
Here is a sample of the speakers in this summit just from the first couple of days. If you don’t know who these people are, I highly recommend you Google them. I know a lot of them personally and think the world of them:

Day 1 (Oct 2nd):
Dr Eric Berg - huge YouTube doctor who has helped millions
Dr Tro Kalayjian - A Passionate low-carb doctor who will be helping me with a low carb study in my homes
Day 2 (Oct 3rd):
Dr Robert Lustig - Endocrinologist and sugar expert
Amanda Leith - Food addiction counselor
Day 3 (Oct 4th):
Nina Teicholz - Author of ‘The Big Fat Surprise’. Advising RFK Jr on dietary guidelines
Dr Jen Unwin - Psychologist specializing in food addiction
Dr Ken Berry - Family physician and carnivore diet advocate
Dr Phil Ovadia - Heart surgeon and advocate of low carb diets
Other notable speakers include Dr Robert Lufkin, Maria Emmerich (we follow her food recommendations in our homes), Dr Chris Palmer, Professor Tim Noakes, and Dr Georgia Edes.
All of these people are donating their time to help America become healthier. You don’t have to be present for all the sessions. Just listen to your favorites.
I hope you enjoy. More importantly, I hope the summit helps you kick any kind of sugar addiction you may have. And full disclosure, I am promoting this as a favor to friends organizing it. I don’t receive any compensation. I just really believe in events like this.
